…THE PHONE RANG!!!!!
I was in my greenhouse watering my little treasures at approx 9pm when David came out to me saying “Newcastle are on the phone”
“what do they want?”, I replied
“to talk to you”, his response
So I trudged, puffing up my slopey garden and took the call.
It was indeed one of the coordinators with, whom I never spoken with before.
She started asking how I was- in a very general friendly way for a good few minutes then just calmly slipped into the conversation “we’ve got some organs for you”.
“oh Ok” my reply, whilst thinking I haven’t got a bag packed! Not even bought most of what I need yet!
Madness ensued with me screaming orders to David. ” go and pack me three days worth of ‘pump stuff’ please I’ll sort my other meds”
He seemed to have been gone ages (bearing in my mind we’re told an ambulance could be with us in 15 mins)
Investigating, I found David drawing up my medication solutions into the syringes. (this has to be done on a daily basis and used within 24 hrs of drawing up).
He was clearly panicking.
“just get the pack out of the car, I’ll go in the ambulance, you pack bags and follow up after”, I ordered
The ambulance was indeed waiting. Blocking our very narrow lane causing a very busy but fractious Royal Mail van man to start to lose his temper. The ambulance would not budge until his precious cargo was aboard.
I remember feeling anxious in this dream that I needed Evan and also someone else ( apart from David, of course!), a female!!!
Waking thoughts:
1. Oops it really will happen most likely when I least expect it!
2. I need to pack my bag!
3.Who was that female??
4.Should we have moved house? to a cul-de-sac? middle of a field?
5.I had a dream…therefore it meant that I had slept, at least a little!
