… it’s been a while…

…but things have really busy. There are two things that I really want to shout and tell the world about…but which to tell first?? Both equally exciting and important, so no favouritism here…
Firstly, things are going great for Evan and his flat, he his making it look really smart, despite still not having any furniture yet!!!!

I went to visit him for lunch yesterday, it was lovely to go there (and I didn’t have to do the dishes!!!).

Secondly, the secret is a secret no longer..we can formally ( and legally go public now!!!)
David is starting a ‘cottage bakery’. He makes only artisan, handmade bread including sourdough.

‘We” had the Environmental Health assessment late yesterday and were given the go ahead to commence “business”. Not only that, but “we” were awarded a 5 Star rating for hygiene/food safety. This is the top rating.

David is beside himself. We have our own In-house IT man on the case for the website (been done months ago but in the wings, waiting to be completed once given the go ahead ), maintaining Twitter and Facebook things ( no I don’t do social networking things on computer!!!!)

You can find “David” and his artisan handmade bread information @ http://www.BelperBread.co.uk or Belperbakery.co.uk (or com instead of co.uk)

He has been supported by our local high class Deli, who hope to be stocking some of Davids’ bread soon, as well as our many friends who have been ‘samplers’ and ‘testers’ .

Me? Very proud of my two boys. VERY relieved that the renovation work is now complete, the dust has settled and been cleared away.

They say something good always comes out of a not so good situation…David only starting making bread 5 years ago when I could no longer find the energy or strength to make it and we didn’t really like bread machine bread!!!

Being a little poetic my ‘journey to transplant’ has brought about individual ‘journeys to…’ for those closest to me!!!
